Who can contribute images to cloud-dreaming?

You don’t need to be a photographer to participate. You just need to have some sort of camera - even a phone camera will do the trick.  The basis of this little bit of fun is to harness imagination and be creative, not create the most perfect or technical image.

What sort of information do I need to submit with my photo?

Please submit the following information with your image:

Dreamt by: e.g. Fran Mackenzie (lumin-essence.com.au/blog)
Title: e.g. Sheep grazing, shaded by tree
Below: e.g. Motorway 1, going home.
Above: e.g. Sheep dotted in a field, lazily grazing. Reminded me of happy times on holiday.

You also need to state in your email that you give permission for your image to be posted onto the cloud-dreaming site.

Do I have to draw onto the photo and how do I do it?

I like to softly doodle my dreamings onto the image, but whether you do that is completely up to you! It is not essential.

Most computers have Paint software so if you do decide you want to have a go and don’t have Photoshop, Paint is a good place to start.

Alternatively you can print a copy of your photo, draw directly onto it and scan it (or as a last resort take a photo of it).

Who does the copyright belong to?

You will always retain the copyright to your images. By giving me permission to post you are granting me a usage licence to post on the cloud-dreaming site. From time to time I may ask for your permission to use your image in a cloud-dreaming promotion. I will always ask about this beforehand and, of course, you have the right to say no.

We’ve only just begun…
